On Friday, April 15th, Sanford Fieldhouse will be filled with students from grades 3-8 for an NFL and Midwest Dairy-themed Reward Summit event. The program is from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Students participate in a high-energy day filled with healthy eating and physical activity discussion and football drills with Minnesota Vikings player Sharrif Floyd and Augustana University Football players.

There will be over 200 students from across South Dakota gathering for this event. This is an invitation-only event.

Participating schools earned a place at the Reward Summits by being actively involved in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program. This is an in-school health and wellness program that encourages healthy eating and achieving 60 minutes of physical activity each day.

Students will learn about dairy farming from a local farmer, play nutrition themed-games, and much more. This is the third year that the Midwest Dairy Council and the Minnesota Vikings have hosted a Fuel Up to Play 60 Reward Summit in South Dakota.
