South Dakota State’s Megan Waytashek is the Mid-Major College Basketball Player of the Week

Things are going very well for South Dakota State these days.

The Jackrabbits are a perfect 7-0 after the first half of the Summit League schedule and now junior Megan Waytashek is the College Sports Madness Summit League Mid-Major Player of the Week.

The Lino Lakes, Minnesota native averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals while shooting 32 percent from the field and 82 percent from the free throw line.

Waytashek led SDSU with 20 points in Sunday's win over South Dakota.
