South Dakota State wants to hear from you about their proposed new football stadium.

Athletic Director Justin Sell is hosting two Town Hall meetings this month to get public input on the new stadium, which would replace Coughlin-Alumni Stadium, and open in time for the 2016 season.

The first town hall meeting is scheduled for noon on Monday, January 13th, in the Volstorff Ballroom in the SDSU Student Union.

A second meeting is Wednesday, January 15th, at the McCrory Gardens Education and Visitor Center in Brookings, at 5:00pm.

The new facility is scheduled to be built on the current Coughlin-Alumni Stadium site, and would seat between 18,500 and 20,000 at a cost of an estimated $60-65 million.

Funding would come from private gifts, as well as concessions and suite, loge box and ticket sales. So far Sioux Falls banker Dana Dykhouse and philanthropist T. Denny Sanford have pledged $12.5 million.
