South Dakota One of the Best States to Live In? CNBC Says Yup!

Well, it has happened again! Our state has ended up on yet another Top Ten list and it is very good news. Except for the fact that when your profile is raised by a national entity like the CNBC it also opens the door for good and bad.

The good being more prominence on the national economic scene, more companies wanting to do business here, bringing more jobs here, more shopping, dining and entertainment choices, too. The bad, higher crime rates, possibly higher prices, even busier streets and longer commute times, too mention but a few.

That however, as they say, (whomever they are) is the way it goes in the real world. Of course it is nice to be noticed for the great things in our state. Way to go, us!
