Cee Lo Green reportedly apologized to the victim he allegedly sexually assaulted. According to TMZ, the woman secretly taped a conversation with Green admitting that he did drugged her and then had sex with her.

The 'Voice' judge is being accused of allegedly slipping ecstasy in his date's drink at a Los Angeles restaurant back in July. The woman claims she had one drink with the singer and remembers nothing afterward. The following day she woke up in bed naked next to Green.

The victim allegedly went to police after the incident and LAPD detectives had her call Green and secretly record their conversation to see if he would confirm the allegations. Allegedly, Green told the woman he was apologetic about what happened and referenced using ecstasy but he didn't specifically say he put it in her drink.

There are also conflicting reports about whether the accuser went to her attorney first before going to the authorities and if her attorney reached out to Green's manager demanding money to quietly resolve the matter. LAPD detectives are still investigating the case and will refer their findings to the L.A. County District Attorney's Office once the investigation is completed.

As we previously reported, Green has maintained his innocence and denied the victim's claims. "Nothing ever happened there or anywhere else," he said.
