The two year odyssey of construction on Russell Street is agonizingly close to completion. 

Now that the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center is open, having a full 6 lanes to carry traffic east and west of the area is a huge boost for this north side boulevard.  In fact, all that's left is some landscape work on the south side of the street and some finishing work of the concrete on the north side of the street in just a couple of places and that stretch is done.  At a cost of over $18 million.

The extra lanes are not the only part of this project as new bridges were installed on the west end of the project over the Big Sioux River.  Watch a drive-through of all that's left of the Sioux Falls Russell Street project below.
