So You Think You Can Dance Names America’s Favorite Dancers [VIDEO]

After two hours and brief intermission from the President, 'So You Think You Can Dance' named America's favorite female and male dancer.

The show consisted of favorite numbers from the season and a few new routines like the beach themed 'Rock Lobster.'  'Rock Lobster' features the Top 10 dancers from the show and some of the 'So You Think You Can Dance' all-stars.

It is kind of a crazy routine, but a fun way to end the season.

Then the moment of truth came.  Would Aaron (my favorite and a tap dancer) or Fik-Shun be named favorite male dancer?  Would Jasmine or Amy be named favorite female dancer?

Well, the winners were announced and they were Fik-Shun and Amy!!!!

I was a little bummed because I wanted Aaron to win.  He was the first tapper to make it this far and he wasn't even supposed to be on the show.  They brought him back after another male dancer got injured.  It would have been an epic win!

But Fik-Shun won and I did like him too, just not as much.

Fik-Shun's partner throughout the show was Amy and she won as well.  I think they were just a favorite couple all the way through the show.

Cat Deeley, the host, had mentioned the top vote getter overall was a girl. So if the show still played by its old rules then Amy would have won the whole darn tootin thing! They changed the show to a boy and girl winner a couple seasons ago just to be fair, I guess.  I don't really know.

And in other good news, Nigel Lythgoe announced that the show had been picked up for season eleven so we all get to do this all again next Summer.  It is pretty much the only show in the Summer that is appointment viewing for me! Love it!
