I watched both night's of this year's Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and never once saw a dog that looked like this.  All I can figure is maybe this dog is a combination of two or more different breeds - it's gotta be.

By the way, in case you didn't hear, a four year old Beagle by the name of 'Miss P' won Best in Show.  Miss P beat out a Matisse, a Portuguese Water Dog, and Old English Sheepdog, a Standard Poodle, a Shih Tzu, an English Springer Spaniel, and a Skye Terrier to win the nation's most prominent dog show.

Miss P's win is not without controversy though.  Many thought Swagger, the Old English Sheep Dog and crowd favorite, should've taken top honors.  Best in Show judge David Merriam said afterward that Miss P demonstrated the “beagle in the ring and the beagle in the field," hinting that Miss P seemed more of a complete package than the other dogs.

And in the case of Miss P, the fruit didn't fall far from the tree.  Miss P is related to a dog by the name of Uno, who back in 2008 became the only other beagle to win at the Super Bowl of dog shows.
