Meteorologist Billy Williams of the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says the snow amounts vary from the latest storm.

"As you might expect, this storm had different intensities going up and down a bit. There has been a band of a heavier snow from the southeast side of Sioux Falls to other parts of the state, northwest Iowa and Minnesota. Overall this storm has behaved pretty much as we expected for the area."

With four point six inches of snow in Sioux Falls. Rich Steffen of the city's street department says his crews have been their hands full once again.

"We have enough snow so we got the contractors helping us. We have blades, motor graders, and sanders on all the emergency routes. We're just going around and around till it quits snowing."

Once the emergency routes are cleaned, residential areas will be taken of.
