The Sioux Falls Storm avenged their only loss of the season by hammering the Cedar Rapids Titans at the Sioux Falls Arena Saturday night 73-36 to advance to their fifth straight United Bowl Championship game.

After the teams traded early touchdowns, the Storm defense took over, shutting down Cedar Rapids to help Sioux Falls go on a 35-0 run to basically seal the game early.

“That was probably the best game we’ve played all year,” said coach Kurtiss Riggs. “Just our offensive tempo and our adrenaline on defense. We just played at a high level and were able to carry it through the whole game.”

The Storm will host the Nebraska Danger in a rematch of last year's United Bowl at the Arena this Saturday night at 7pm.
