The NCAA has announced the next host sites for future championship events and Sioux Falls won three bids.

All sites for upcoming NCAA events through 2022 were announced on Tuesday (April 18) afternoon. The Sioux Falls Sports Authority placed 20 bids for different events and were granted three of them. Sioux Falls will host one Division I event, and two different Division II championships.

Alongside UND, Sioux Falls will host the NCAA DI Men's Ice Hockey Regional in 2018. The event will take place March 23-25 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.

The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center will also play host to the DII Men's Wrestling Championships March 13-14, 2020.

Volleyball will also be center stage in Sioux Falls at the Sanford Pentagon. Sioux Falls, joined by the NSIC, will host the NCAA DII Women's Volleyball Championship in 2020.

Sioux Falls Sports Authority's Bryan Miller says that future DI Women's Basketball Regional sites for 2021 and 2022 will be announced at a later date. While only three events were granted at this point, Miller says he is happy with the events that were given to Sioux Falls.
