SIOUX FALLS - Decision time has arrived for Sioux Falls residents and the choice you make will set the course for education for the school district.  The questions then become who will be the voter’s choice and who will vote to determine the choice?

The election will be held Tuesday May 21.  Depending on when you read this, it will either be forthcoming or currently happening.  Vote Centers are open beginning at 7:00 in the morning and close at 7:00 in the evening.  Thirteen locations are available for you to cast your ballot.  Plus the usage of e-pollbooks will make the process convenient.  You will be able to vote at any one of the polling centers.  Even South Dakota Secretary of State Jason Gant was in Sioux Falls last week to train election workers how to use the machines.

Now the onus has been placed upon the voter to show up.  Just in case you haven’t been able to get up to speed on who the candidates are and their positions on the issues follow the link at the bottom of the page.  It will connect you to profiles of all the candidates.  The information is there.  Use it to shape your choice and make the selection.  Four candidates are on the ballot and the top two with the most votes will be on the Sioux Falls School Board.
