During Thursday's Police Briefing at the Law Enforcement Center, Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says authorities are trying to find a suspicious person.

"A 14-year old girl was walking to school Wednesday morning around 7:40 AM. She was near 13th Street and 2nd Avenue. A car drove up and stopped. They were saying some words to her. A passenger got out and walked over to her. That's when he tried to grab her between the legs. He didn't actually touch her. She kept walking. He got back in the car and left. We're not really sure what  happened there."

Clemens says few details about the person and his vehicle are known.

"The description of the vehicle was an older four door white car with maybe a cracked headlight. The guy she thought was possibly Native American. But. we really don't have much of a description of him."

If you witnessed the incident, Clemens urges you to call Sioux Falls Police.
