Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says authorities arrested two men Monday night after finding drugs, guns and counterfeit money.

"They were able to serve a search warrant in the 700 block of South Duluth Avenue. There are two people - one of them lives there. When the warrant was served, there was a person that was leaving. That person had a large duffel bag that had stolen guns inside. The detectives also found some counterfeit 20 dollar bills. Some had not been cut and were still on the sheets."

Clemens says the two Sioux Falls men are not connected to the recent rash of counterfeit bills being passed at local businesses.

"All the counterfeit bills we received the last several days were 50 dollar and 100 dollar denominations. These counterfeit bills at the apartment were all 20's. We don't believe they are connected with any of the other recent counterfeiting cases."

Clemens says 18-year-old Nicolas Wingler and 20-year-old Matthew Eugene Marshall Jr. face a number of charges, including possession of a stolen firearm and possession of marijuana.

Wingler was also charged with possession of a forged instrument, making or possessing a counterfeiting device and distribution of marijuana.
