During the Tuesday Police Media Briefing at the Law Enforcement Center, Sioux Falls Police Lieutenant David McIntire says two people were arrested early Tuesday morning.

"We had an officer who was on patrol around 2:00 AM today in the area of 4409 North Suebert Avenue. That's the area where Tri-State Storage Units are located. That officer had been by the area earlier in the night and noticed nothing out of the ordinary. But this time he came by, the officer noticed a vehicle parked really close to one of the storage unit doors," explained McIntire.

"It's not impossible for somebody to be in a storage unit that time of night, but it always does get our attention. Once he made contact with those individuals, the officer did discover that in fact the storage unit did not belong to them."

McIntire says 51-year-old Ken Westra and 25-year-old Heidi Bern, both of Sioux Falls, were charged with third degree burglary.
