Sioux Falls Man Reveals Poisonous Pets After Rattlesnake Bite Emergency

Sioux Falls Police and Animal Control officers were made aware of a poisonous snake bite Friday after a 19 year old male was bitten on the arm by his pet rattlesnake and had gone to Sanford hospital to seek treatment.

The investigation and followup of the bite yielded information that the subject had other poisonous reptiles in his home.  A search warrant was obtained and a home on the east side of Sioux Falls was searched.  Three rattlesnakes were removed from the home.
