Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says a Sioux Falls man has been arrested for counterfeiting.

"On Friday we had a business (Family Dollar on East 10th Street) had noticed the suspect they believed had passed some counterfeit bills before. Earlier they had not made a report. They realized this was the same person that had passed some counterfeit bills at the Hy-Vee across the street. Police were called and found out the man had some warrants and marijuana on him. Once he was arrested for that, the officers found there were four fake 20 dollar bills that were in his wallet."

Clemens says 43-year-old Patrick Hogan was charged with four counts of a forged instrument, and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
