Sioux Falls Police are attempting to figure out who fired three gunshots at a Sioux Falls home early Sunday morning.

KDLT News is reporting the incident occurred around 3:30 in the morning on Sunday, (April 9) near 7th street and Trapp Avenue.

Authorities were called to the area after receiving a number of calls of shots being fired. Upon arriving, they found witnesses and the people targeted by the shots.

No one was hurt as a result of the gunfire, and early reports indicate the gunshots may be linked to another altercation that happened earlier during a family dispute that was not reported to authorities.

According to KDLT News, the earlier incident involved a suspect who attempted to run over another person in an SUV vehicle. The suspect later returned with another group of people and someone in the group fired a series of three gunshots at the victim.

The vehicle used was located sometime later by authorities on the east side of Sioux Falls. At that time, police arrested 23-year-old Jamar Moore, of Sioux Falls, in connection with the assault that happened earlier.

The gunfire incident is still under investigation at this time.
