Sioux Falls Police Spokesman Sam Clemens says a girl was assaulted by another teen on Tuesday.

"We had a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old that were walking along near 17th and Minnesota Avenue. There was another group of teenagers that came up behind them and were challenging them to a fight," explained Clemens.

"The first two went into the neighborhood and the other three followed them. The first two girls were trying to get away and didn't want to fight the other girls. A van drove up and a couple girls got into the van. The third we believe grabbed something from the van. It was either a taser or stun gun."

That's when violence erupted!

"The suspect used the stun gun on the face of the 14-year-old and delivered a shock. She then used the stun gun and knocked out a tooth of the 14-year-old. The suspect then left with the people that were with her. The 14-year-old and her friend went back home and reported the incident to police."

Clemens says police are searching for the female suspect.
