Our News Gathering Partner KDLT reports that Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to an apartment fire  on South Main Avenue around 12:20 AM Tuesday morning.

Fire crews arrived to flames from a second story window and light smoke from the roof. The tenant was able to get out safely. The fire was extinguished within five minutes of the first crew's arrival.

There was light smoke damage in the upstairs unit.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No injuries were reported. The Red Cross assisted the apartment's occupants.
