It's an exciting time in Sioux Falls. Lots of great new stuff in our great city.

The new Midco Aquatic Center opens to the public on Thursday (October 13). The ribbon cutting ceremony is Wednesday (October 12), at 5:30 PM.

You'll need to see this awesome facility to appreciate how truly awesome it is. You are invited and encouraged to attend the ribbon cutting. You can check out this new public indoor aquatic center during self-guided tours.

When: Wednesday, October 12, 2016 5:30 PM. Open house with food and music lasts until 8 PM

Where: Midco Aquatic Center, 1601 South Western Avenue

Some Folks Attending: Mayor Mike Huether, Councilor Michelle Erpenbach, Central District Patti Abdallah, President, Parks and Recreation Board Don Kearney, Director, Parks and Recreation Pat McAdaragh, President and CEO, Midco Steve Van Buskirk, Chair-Elect, Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, Patty Dee, Professional Delightfull Person

Other Stuff: Wear your tropical and summer-inspired shirts and shorts; fun and casual attire encouraged. Self-guided tours will be available. Swimming will not be allowed at the event. This will be a ribbon cutting like none other you have ever attended!

They will have music, food, and fun no swimming until Thursday. On Thursday, October 13, at 5:30 AM the facility opens for swimming. See ya then!
