A suspect has been arrested in Sioux Falls on a repeat burglary offense.

"Our victim was at his home and heard a burglar alarm go off. The homeowner immediately ran out to the garage where he confronted an individual and detained him. At some point, his son assisted him," explained Sioux Falls Police Lt. John Duprey.

Duprey says 50-year-old Perry Allen Stark was arrested after entering the garage in the 6200 block of South Landau Circle.

"Because of the swift action of the homeowner and his son, Mr. Stark did not have any belongings of that particular homeowner. Yet in his pockets and hands---there were other items recovered from him. This indicates there may be other victims in the area."

Duprey says this isn't the first time police have come into contact with the Sioux Falls man.

"We may remember Mr. Stark's name back on March 3rd, 2016---he was arrested in a very similar incident in the 2800 block of South St. Charles Lane."

The homeowner in that case also had security alarms.
