Sioux Falls Best City for Flipping Homes

If you spend hours watching HGTV, envision yourself as some sort of house-flipping wunderkind and you live here in Sioux Falls, you are apparently in the right place! WalletHub has taken a look at the 150 most populated cities in the U.S. and out of all of those, Sioux Falls is the top city if you're looking to flip a home and make money doing it!

The way this was determined was by (of course) crunching the numbers across multiple categories like, the housing market health index, return on investment, most real estate agents per capita, highest and lowest remodeling costs for kitchens, bathrooms, whole homes, home turnover rates, and more.

They also took into account "quality of life" issues like crime rates, median salaries, school systems, unemployment and job-growth rates, availability of park access to families and more. This data was gathered from multiple sources like, the U.S. Census Bureau, Zillow, the FBI, GreatSchools.org, Trust for Public Land, the Council for Community and Economic Research and more.

After looking at the results it seems clear that Sioux Falls won the top spot because of our high quality of life rating and relatively low renovation and remodeling costs, because in most other categories (median salary, purchase price of homes, or gross return on investment) our city was easily surpassed by other metro areas.
