Sioux Falls Police Information Officer Sam Clemens says three people have been arrested in connection with an assault.

"Our victim went to an apartment near 11th and Summit Street. As he was walking up, the owner of the apartment told him that she didn't want him there. She pushed him away and began punching him," explained Clemens. "There were some other guys that left the apartment about that same time. They basically joined in and punched the victim. Once he went to the ground, all three of them started kicking him. When officers got there, the victim was found unconscious. He was taken to the hospital. Luckily there were several witnesses who saw the attack and were able to piece together what happened."

Clemens says it's not known why the three individuals assaulted the 30-year old victim.

"Sounds like they may have known each other. I don't know if there was some past history that played a factor. But, they sure didn't want him in the apartment."

The suspects have been identified as 39-year-old Alicia Meng, 27-year-old Gabriel Pomani Jr. and 20-year-old William Eaglestar.

It's not known what the condition of the suspect is.
