During Monday's Police Media Briefing, Sioux Falls Police Captain Blaine Larson told reporters an arrest has been made in connection with the vandalism of a SculptureWalk Exhibit.

Captain Larson says Robert Wayland Mitchell was charged with intentional damage to property for vandalizing the "Book Peddlers" sculpture. Larson says "a warrant for his arrest was made after his attorney made a statement last week about how he felt remorse for damaging the sculpture.

Larson says Mitchell has been ordered to pay 2,800 dollars for damages caused to the sculpture.

Larson also told reporters 23-year-old Damon Griffith of Sioux Falls was charged with felony intentional damage to property in connection to more than ten graffiti vandalisms in the city.  When Griffith was arrested, Larson said police found more than 100 cans of spray paint in his home and garage.
