Sioux Empire Community Theatre (SECT) continues to turn out top notch local performances.

So far this season they've given us Sister Act and The Witches.

Next up is The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. The show opens November 10 and runs through the 18th. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7 PM and a 2 PM matinee on Sundays. Tickets are $30 and available online or at the Orpheum Theatre box office.

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance is a classic tale of good versus evil. It is about a newcomer to a small town out west. He turns up half dead and the townspeople take him in. But wait, there's more.

On SECT's website, they write:

He must make the choice: to turn and run or to stand for what he believes, to live or to fight; to become the man who shot Liberty Valance.

Sounds intriguing.
