Should stores be open on Thanksgiving?

It depends on who you ask.

Recent polls suggest, it seems the majority of people, even early bargain hunters will tell you no. Thanksgiving is a time for family. The loudest voices seem to come from those who work retail, and want to enjoy the holiday before the 'Black Friday' crush.

Retailers and business owner will tell you, yes, they have to be open - or they get trampled by the competition.
