Police were busy late Friday night sorting out the details of a large fight that started in front of the Multicultural Center in Downtown Sioux Falls.

The incident took place just before midnight on Friday, September 30.

According to authorities, the fight broke out as a result of a "disagreement."

Several gunshots connected to the fight were heard, and police reported finding between three and ten shell casings, but no one was harmed.

Right now the shots are believed to have been fired from a vehicle located at the scene. Police continue to search for leads on what role the vehicle had in relation to the fight.

Authorities were forced to close off 4th and 6th Street along North Main Avenue in Sioux Falls for nearly an hour as they investigated the scene.

Two individuals were arrested for disorderly conduct that was unrelated to the shooting or the fight.

Another two people were injured as a result of the fight, with one being taken to a Sioux Falls hospital with non life threatening injuries.

More details as they become available.
