Our friend Mitchell Olson was on KSFY this morning to review The Dakota Academy of Performing Arts' The Drowsy Chaperone and somehow I got drug into it!

Let's go back...

Shawn Cable competed in last year's NAMI Fundraiser, Dancing with the Sioux Falls Stars, which I was a judge (I really want to be a contestant, but whatever, I was happy to be there). Shawn decided to tap for his competition number even though he had never tapped before.

Cut to Mitchell calling me out on local TV saying I've only tapped once before! Let me clarify. I have only tapped in a performance once, but I have tap danced since college.

And sorry to Shawn for the lower scores at Dancing with the Sioux Falls Stars, but it wasn't great. Deep down you know it's true. I applaud you for trying though. Tap isn't easy to pick up.

I think there is only one way to settle this!

Shawn and me in a tap dance battle royale! And since Mitchell thinks he's so good, how about he tries to tap dance as well!
