Starting on Monday, June 24, 2013, at 8:00 a.m., Seventh Street will be closed west of Kiwanis Avenue in Sioux Falls.

Construction crews will be installing a water main through the intersection of Seventh Street and Kiwanis Avenue. Seventh Street will be closed until 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2013. Detour signs will be placed to direct traffic over to Ninth Street. Access to local businesses will be maintained.

Dakota Contracting Corporation is the prime contractor. All work is to be completed on the project by November 22, 2013.

Beginning on Monday, June 24, 2013, the mill and overlay project will start on Marion Road from Maple Street to 60th Street North. Access from Marion Road will be maintained at all times, but residents may need to access their homes from either 60th Street North or Maple Street which while involve traveling through residential neighborhoods. The project is expected to complete by July 29, 2013, with favorable weather conditions.

At 8:30 a.m., Tuesday morning, June 25, 2013, the outside eastbound lane on 41st Street will be closed between Cathy Avenue and Terry Avenue. Eastbound traffic will use the inside eastbound lane.

Motorists are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while travelling through the work zones.

Engbarth Directional Drilling will be performing utility work. The work is anticipated to be finished by the evening of June 25, 2013.
