This is a story none of us have ever written before, the story of Sergio Garcia winning a major.

He finally got over the hump on Sunday as he captured his first major at Augusta National, taking home the green jacket and the 2017 Masters title.

It wasn't without drama though as Sergio missed a putt to win on the 18th hole only to win with a birdie putt on the first playoff hole against Justin Rose. Both players finished regulation -9.

Sergio has been a part of drama before in majors, but this time it was him on the right side of it all.

It was a moment that I will always remember as for whatever reason, I got chills seeing his emotion after the winning putt and his embrace with his future wife.

Sergio had finished in the top ten at majors, 22 times over his career without a victory, now leaving Lee Westwood with that unwanted top spot as Westwood has finished in the top ten, 18 times in his career without a major title.

Here's a look at the final leaderboard from the 2017 Masters.
