Another year of Class 11AAA, and the same semifinals teams from last year are in. This year looks destined to be much different.

Starting at 4:30, the top seed in Sioux Falls Lincoln will face Sioux Falls O'Gorman. One year ago Lincoln defeated O'Gorman 28-0 in the semifinals. The two teams met earlier this season and Lincoln was able to hold off O'Gorman 34-29. O'Gorman was sparked by a late surge in that game, but ended up just falling short.

Lincoln looks as strong as ever, as they continue their march towards a second straight undefeated season. Quarterback Isaiah Roach has thrown for just under 2,000 yards this season at 1,957. He has also passed for 18 touchdowns to just six interceptions. Running back and defensive back Braxton Large has rushed for 19 touchdowns and has accounted for 49 total tackles.

O'Gorman is going to need another strong showing from quarterback Luke Fritsch. So far on the season, Fritsch has passed for 915 yards and rushed for 640 yards. He will have much help running the football with Dodi Makwinja.

In the second semi-final, Roosevelt and Brandon Valley will tangle once again. This time around, Roosevelt won't have quarterback Taryn Christion. Jett Thune has replaced Christion and has played very well, passing for 728 yards and 11 touchdowns. He is also no stranger to the run game having rushed for 306 yards.

Brandon Valley will put a lot on the shoulders of quarterback Jake Comeaux, and for good reason. Comeaux this year has passed for 1,923 yards and 23 touchdowns. Running back Riley Frantzen and wide receivers Drew Reinschmidt and Alex Wilde will look to help Comeaux out on offense.

Roosevelt and Brandon Valley also met last year in the semifinals, a shootout win for Roosevelt 65-35. The two teams squared off in the first week of the season at Howard Wood Field. Roosevelt once again defeated Brandon Valley 42-34.

Coverage of tonight's semifinals begin at 4:30 on ESPN 99.1.
