The iPhone's iOS6 upgrade has brought Siri closer to sentience. At least when it comes to movies; the "personal assistant" now evidently feels sympathy towards some of its misunderstood cinematic counterparts. Want to know Siri's take on 'Blade Runner'? It could make you look at it in a whole new light.

The Cult Of Mac (via Slashfilm) discovered Siri's newly found appreciation for snarky film criticism, evidently by asking for its - sorry, her - opinion on the plot of 'Blade Runner'. Siri's response: “It’s about intelligent assistants wanting to live beyond their termination dates. That doesn’t sound like too much to ask.”

How about '2001'? 'It’s about an assistant named HAL who tries to make contact with a higher intelligence. These two guys get in the way and mess it all up.”

Finally, what does Siri think about 'Wall-E', that touching fable about a surprisingly romantic robot? "It's about two inarticulate yet intelligent assistants who compact trash and fall in love and save the world.”

Thing is, it's kind of hard to argue with Siri on any of these critiques. Wonder what she thinks about 'The Terminator'? Perhaps it's wise not to find out.

What other movie-related Easter eggs can now be found with Siri?
