How awesome is it that National Margarita Day is on a Friday!

Whether you like your margarita blended or on the rocks, traditional or flavored, I think we can all agree they are tasty!

I've been known to enjoy a margarita or two in my day.

The best thing about margaritas is drinking them to wash down some tasty chips and salsa! Amirite?!

According to Wikipedia, a margarita, by definition is, "...a cocktail consisting of tequila, orange liqueur, and lime juice often served with salt on the rim of the glass. The drink is served shaken with ice (on the rocks), blended with ice (frozen margarita), or without ice (straight up)."

Wikipedia also lists a basic margarita recipe as:

• 3.5 cL (7 parts) tequila
• 2 cL (4 parts) Cointreau
• 1.5 cL (3 parts) lime juice

Fun fact: Did you know margarita is Spanish for daisy? Well, now you do.
