S.D. Sportswriters Basketball Poll December 29

The South Dakota Sportswriters have released their high school basketball poll for December 29. Watertown has claimed the top spot in Class AA Boys.

We are still in the early parts of the season but Watertown is securing the top spot in Class AA Boys. Washington and O'Gorman remain right behind Watertown, while no other Sioux Falls school cracks the top five or received any votes.

Sioux Falls Washington continues to be the favorite in Class AA girls even following a loss at the Pentagon to Western Christian, Iowa. Overall, not much has shifted in the Class AA girls poll.
