The decorated Christmas trees in the South Dakota Capitol will be on display through Saturday, December 28th.

The display is open daily to the public from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. CST

Representatives of organizations and communities who decorated the trees will return to Pierre on Sunday, Dec. 29, and Monday morning, Dec. 30, to take the trees down.

Organizations or groups with an interest in decorating the large state tree or community trees for next year, or providing entertainment and weekend displays, are encouraged to sign up at the Greeter’s Desk in the Capitol Rotunda or contact the Office of the Governor at 605-773-3212.
