Sioux Falls police say a group of people were being loud outside an east-side apartment building early Friday. When residents asked them to tone it down, they didn't like it.

Officer Sam Clemens says it happened around 1:45 AM outside a building in the 2300 block of South Sycamore Avenue, and he says three people who live there were on their balcony when they asked those who had driven up to keep the noise down.

Clemens says one of the people on the ground didn't like being told to quiet down, so he went to his car, pulled out a handgun and fired twice into the air. The people on the balcony ran inside and called police, and Clemens says they were able to give a vehicle description and a partial license number.

Clemens says eventually two of the three people being sought were arrested. He says 26-year-old Juan Marshall Wright of Sioux Falls is charged with three counts of aggravated assault, discharging a weapon inside city limits and reckless discharge of a firearm.

The driver, 30-year-old Angelo Mario Butler of Sioux Falls, was charged with eluding, fleeing police, first-offense DWI and driving with a suspended license.
