Ron Zook joins Jeff Thurn on Friday’s edition of Overtime to talk about Aaron Rodgers, and the Green Bay Packers.

Zook is a former Illinois and Florida football head coach. Currently, he is an assistant coach with the Green Bay Packers. Hear his interview with Thurn right here:

Thurn asks Zook how Rodgers will respond Sunday with a slight tear in his calf:

"Well Aaron Rodgers, best I've ever been around him. Not only as a player, but as a person. I think the type of person he is, the type of leader he is. He's a warrior. He's one of those guys that you love it to be on his team. This team will respond and I think Aaron is going to respond. I don't see any real big deal. The issue is the injury being an issue."

Aaron Rodgers is going to start Sunday, when the Packers play against Dallas in the NFC Divisional playoffs at Lambeau Field. The game is at noon on Fox and on ESPN 99.1

Has Packers head coach Mike McCarthy had a message for Green Bay this week going into its home playoff game Sunday vs. Dallas?

"Well I don't know if its anything specific, but you kind of build on it. Mike's done a great job of you know we started this back in July and this is what you point to and what everybody points to. But's he's kind of laid the ground work. The things we talk about are just a continuing process of where we want to get to and Mike has done a great job with this team in terms of thinking ahead and what we need. I think these guys are all focused and are looking forward to playing."
