Rochelle Olson of the Star Tribune in Minneapolis joined Jeff Thurn on Overtime yesterday to discuss Adrian Peterson.

Listen and Read part of Rochelle and Jeff's full interview below:

Olson, along with two other Tribune writers wrote an article, "Behind Peterson's perfect image lay an imperfect human being." Thurn asks her how she would respond to people who think Peterson's case is a 'witchhunt?'

"Well we hold these people up.  Adrian Peterson makes a lot of money doing he does and he makes a lot of money off his personality. One side of Adrian Peterson, he's very magnetic, good looking, and very talented person. That doesn't mean we have to look away from the other stuff just because he means one thing to some people. I think it's fair to look into these other sides of a person."

Was main point of the Tribune's article to inform those who consider him to be an icon in sports, and football?

"Yeah I think it was just to paint a full picture of who he was. A lot of this stuff was known before, but not put all together. In some ways, a recap of his career and what he's meant to the Vikings and community. Just to present a fuller picture all in one place."

Thurn is on ESPN 99.1 every day from 3 to 6 p.m. Follow him on Twitter @jtespn991 and Sam @samtastad.
