Last year when Reggie Abercrombie made a return to Sioux Falls, he smacked a walk-off home run in his season debut. The Canaries announced Monday, pending a physical, Abercrombie will be joining the team, again.

Abercrombie batted .328 with 22 home runs, 90 RBI's, and 34 stolen bases in 2010. Last year, he batted .336 with eight home runs, and 31 RBI's in 31 games.

Abercrombie is joining the Birds again after playing in the Mexican League this summer. He played for Puebla, and Tabasco this summer, and batted .288 with 11 home runs in 58 games.

Abercrombie has played for the Florida Marlins and Houston Astros briefly in his career, as well.
