Kellogg announced that it is voluntarily recalling about 10,000 cases of Kellogg’s® Eggo® Nutri-Grain® Whole Wheat Waffles because of potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. No other Eggo products are impacted by this recall.

The recall affects Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles purchased in 25 states; including Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa.

The company has received no reports of illness to date. /the recall is a result of routine tests to identify potential contamination. Kellogg says that it is taking this action as part of "its commitment to the health and safety of the people who eat its foods."

Kellogg is asking that people who purchased affected product discard it and contact the company for a full refund. Consumers can call 1-800-962-1413 or by visit Kellogg.com/en_US/contact-us.html.
