Attorney General Marty Jackley's office released hundreds of pages of evidence that documents the spending habits of Stacy Phelps, former CEO of American Indian Institute of Innovation (AIII).

Although the money for AIII, a spin-off of Gear Up and Mid Central Educational Cooperative was intended to be spent assisting Native American students prepare for college, it went to reimburse Phelps for extravagant dinners, tires, electronics, crafts supplies and many assorted times that total just under $350,000.

Also of interest is a grouping of e-mail exchanges between Phelps and the late Scott Westerhuis, the man who embezzled one million dollars according to Attorney General Marty Jackley's Office before allegedly shooting his family, setting his Platte family home on fire and shooting himself.  Read Exhibit 5, the e-mail exchange from bottom to top.

The next hearing for Phelps is scheduled on Thursday, August 18, 2016.
