Monday night just after 10:00 PM, a man asked to use the phone at a convenience store on the outskirts of Sioux Falls as a way to gain more access and rob the store according to Sgt. Ryan Qualseth of the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Department:

On 11/30/2015 at approximately 2210 hours, a W/M approximately 40 years old, 5’6, heavy set (250lbs), walked into the Pump n Pak at 46597 267th St. (just to the north of Wild Water West) and requested to use the phone.  The male was wearing a black bandana, black hoodie, Red coat with grey around the bicep area and black shoulders, blue jeans and black shoes.  The male made small talk with the clerk for several minutes before he produced a black handgun and demanded all the money. The male then stole the clerk’s vehicle that was running in front of the store and left eastbound.  The clerk’s vehicle was found in the roadway, approximately 300 yards east of the store.  From tracks in the snow, it appears the male exited the clerks vehicle and got into another vehicle parked in a field approach before leaving toward Sioux Falls. If you have any information in regards to the identity of the suspect please contact 911 or crime stoppers.
