A man outside a downtown store in Sioux Falls was bit by a large black pitbull that didn't have a collar.  The dog's owner was present at the time and there was a short exchange of conversation, but concerns have now grown regarding vaccinations for the pitbull.  Authorities have released the following statement:

The man that was bitten did speak with the owner shortly after the bite. The owner of the dog was a white male wearing dark clothing who spoke with an Italian accent.
