Petition to get Gwar to perform at the Super Bowl

There have been many artist who have played at the Super Bowl since it started in 1967. From Diana Ross to New Kids on the Block, Bruce Springsteen to Miami Sound Machine, this year Bruno Mars will be taking the stage.

Well one group of people wanted to mix things up a bit. They created a petition to get GWAR to perform at halftime of next years game. If you don't know who GWAR is, they are a heavy metal band form Richmond, Virginia. The band is well known for its elaborate science fiction/horror film inspired costumes.

So far they have over 25,000 signatures. If you want to see take the stage next year, the petition is at change.org
