The age old sang in sports is that you can only beat the teams on your schedule and that is exactly what Minnesota has done under first year head coach P.J. Fleck.

No one is going to say that the first three Gopher opponents were world beaters, but Minnesota has taken care of business in all three games and now are 3-0.

Each game that Minnesota has played, they have looked better under Fleck as well.

The Buffalo game was flat out ugly.

A road win against a Pac12 team in the rain deserved respect as they took care of Oregon State.

Now a dominating win over Middle Tennessee State.

Add it all up and not only is Minnesota 3-0, but they are heading into a bye week which gets them rest before they begin Big10 play against Maryland at TCF Bank Stadium the following week.

PJ Fleck wants to establish his culture in Minnesota and doing what you are supposed to do is the first step in that direction.

A 3-0 start is doing what you are supposed to do.
