One Direction Cover Seventeen

One Direction grace the cover of the November issue of Seventeen, making a lot of Directioners who are subscribers to the girl's mag very happy. There's not only plenty of hot photos of the lads, but there's also some insight into what makes 'em tick and how they view the opposite sex. Are you taking notes?

Zayn Malik reveals what confuses him about the ladies and what he is not into, saying, "Some girls like to say one thing and mean another. And me being who I am, I'm very straightforward. Everything is very black and white for me. I don't really like playing mind games." Got that, girls? No games when it comes to Zayn.

He also disputed the idea that he is the only "bad boy" of the group, preferring to be viewed as only slightly bad. He clarifies, "I am a bit of a bad boy. I have tattoos and I mess around. That's part of my image, so it's cool." Beyond cool, Zayn!

Louis Tomlinson also shared what he loves about each of his band bros, in a true "Aww" moment!

"Harry is the guy I can really talk to about anything, but I love to have a heart-to-heart with Zayn as well. And if I'm going to run off and do something crazy, I would choose Liam. He's so carefree and easygoing," he confessed. The Ls in 1D – Louis and Liam -- stick together.

Tomlinson also shared an embarrassing moment he and Harry had while skiing. "A girl and a guy came up to us with a camera," the 1Der said. "We assumed they were going to ask us for a photo, so we stood there with our arms around each other, posing. They said, 'No, we want you to take a photo of us!'" Ooops!

Niall Horan, long-rumored to be secretly dating Demi Lovato, revealed some details about 'Take Me Home.' He shared that the goal was to make fans happy, and judging by the crazy catchy 'Live While We're Young,' the boys have succeeded.

Horan said, "We've worked really hard to get the music right and try to make it better than the last one. I think you can expect it to be really fun — the songs make everyone happy. They will make you smile."

Oh, and of course he addressed the Lovato question, saying, "She's really, really beautiful." He doesn't just mean her looks, since he said that once he got to know her, her beauty became evident. He continued, "We became good friends. It's so crazy that she can be so honest about everything she's gone through. She has a fantastic attitude. If I ever needed anything or needed to talk to anybody, I think Demi would be the person to talk to."

That's the perfect foundation on which to base a relationship. Ahem!

Liam Payne addressed his recent split with girlfriend Danielle, confessing that he is "devastated." Any Directioners want to mend his broken heart? "We had an amazing time together, but unfortunately sometimes things don't go as you planned," the in-pain Payne mused.

Payne also shared his remedy for bullies. Older kids gave him a hard time, so at 12, he learned to box. He said, "My coach was 24. I felt like if I could fight him, I could stand up to anyone."
