Three time Olympic swimmer Kara Lynn Joyce is spending the weekend in Sioux Falls helping kids develop their skills, and coaching the SnowFox swim meet.

Joyce's camp will be at the downtown Sioux Falls EmBe location on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 3:00-5:00 PM. The camp is open to kids that are involved on a swim team and the cost is $40. Limited spots remain. She will also be helping coach kids during the Snowfox Independence Invitational this Friday to Sunday.

"I hope that I can help inspire these kids. I remember being a young, decent swimmer and meeting Olympians. Anyway that I could relate to them, I loved that. If they told me their lucky meal was Mac-and-Cheese, I ate that. I want to show them how much fun they can have and to believe in themselves." - Kara Lynn Joyce

She appeared in the 2004, 2008, and 2012 Olympic Games participating in the 4x100 freestyle events. Joyce earned four silver medals during her Olympic career. She also set numerous national high school records, and was a three time All-American swimmer while in college at the University of Georgia.
