ABERDEEN, SD -- Theresa Pujado scored two first-half goals to lead Sioux Falls O'Gorman past Aberdeen Central 2-0 Friday to win the South Dakota Girls State Soccer Championship.

Pujado put the Knights up 1-0 at 31:31, and scored her second goal eight minutes later.

Sarah Borchard had four shots on goal and Michaela Tofflemire three shots for the Golden Eagles, but O'Gorman's Kristina Wagner stopped all seven shots for the shutout.

Groton Area defeated St. Thomas More 2-1 for third place.

The Cavaliers struck first, taking a 1-0 lead when Avery White found the back of the net at 57:56.  Camille Sipple scored the equalizer for the Tigers eight minutes later, then assisted on Emily Locke's game winning goal in the 74th minute.
