In a Facebook post, Mary Walls Penney describes an interaction she had while checking out at a store after work.

After the cashier noticed her nurse name tag she asked her what she did there. When she informed the cashier that she is a nurse, the woman expressed her shock that she was allowed to work with colorfully-dyed hair.
